OC Floor Guy has installed carpet for Orange County homeowners since 2012, and Newport Beach is part of our service area. As a family-owned business based in Los Alamitos, we combine big-company selection with small-town service and pricing — and every Newport Beach project comes with a free in-home estimate and a satisfaction guarantee.
Carpet is still the most comfortable choice for bedrooms, family rooms, and stairs — and today's stain-resistant fibers hold up far better than the carpet you grew up with.
OC Floor Guy carries plush, textured, frieze, berber, and patterned carpet from the major mills, plus premium padding that makes a bigger difference in comfort and lifespan than most people expect.

Carpet Installation Questions from Newport Beach Homeowners
Does the padding really matter?
A great deal. Padding affects how the carpet feels, how quiet it is, and how long it lasts. Under-speccing the pad is the most common way people shorten the life of an otherwise good carpet.
Do you move the furniture?
Yes — furniture moving is included in our installations. We move it out, install, and put it back.
What is the best carpet if I have pets?
We steer pet owners toward solution-dyed fibers with a strong stain and moisture barrier. Our consultant can bring samples of the pet-friendly lines to your home so you can compare them side by side.

What Orange County Homeowners Say
Every review below is a real, unedited Google review — rated 4.3 stars across 19 reviews.
"Repeat customer here. I have used Cornerstone for installation of carpet, laminate, engineered wood, and LVP. I return to Cornerstone for flooring jobs because I don’t like surprises. Jim has used the same crew for years. They’re careful with my stuff, respectful of my property, can move heavy stuff and put it back, and they clean up thoroughly."
"This company is the best. From the owner on down these guys know the carpet business and know how to get the job done. Salesman Russ helped us pick out 5000 square feet of carpet and flooring, we got a great price, and Sergio and his crew were true craftsmen."
"Jim Dillon is absolutely an amazing human being. He actually listens to you looks at your home, sees what you need and offers his honest opinion and the facts of the floor that you’re gonna buy."
